A message from the Hillsborough Justice Campaign

Saturday, 13th August 2011 – Anfield, Liverpool.

Following the latest hacking scandal, we, as Liverpool supporters, have a duty to keep the pressure up on Rupert Murdoch and his continued involvement with News International and more importantly the Sun newspaper.

We all know the lies this rag printed about our fellow Liverpool supporters after the Hillsborough disaster in April 1989.

So, prior to kick-off before the Sunderland game, we will be holding a demonstration for a continued boycott of the Sun newspaper. This demonstration is with support from the Hillsborough Justice Campaign.

We urge all supporters to help us distribute leaflets before the game to fellow fans. Bring your own banners to show us and the world our continued fight for justice for the 96, and our boycott against the Sun newspaper.

We have 1,000 posters, which fans can collect from the HJC shop opposite the Albert pub. These can be taken with you into the ground.

The pressure we will build up before the Sunderland game will hopefully lead up to a mosaic being displayed on the kop for the live TV game against Bolton on the 27th August.
